After entering the airport, according to the direction of the display board, the respected passengers will go to his/her designated check-in counter and collect the luggage tag, boarding card by showing the passport and all other required documents to the representative of the airlines. Noted that, Bangladeshi passengers who are travelling to Saudi Arabia being an old passenger/on leave, his/her leave certificate should be verified from the Prabashi Kalayan Desk located in the departure area before check-in and for the new passengers after check-in, his/her BMET card should be verified and sealed by the Prabashi Kalayan Desk located inside the Immigration. If respected passengers face any problem during check-in, they can get necessary information service free of charge from the help desk located in the departure concourse hall.

After immigration formalities are completed, passengers should wait in the departure lounge area until 2 hours before starting pre-boarding security. If any passenger needs to exchange foreign currency, they can exchange currency from the money exchange booth located in the departure lounge. Moreover, there is a baby care facility for breastfeeding children next to Immigration-1, Bangabandhu Corner for reading books, duty-free shops, restaurants, and food corners for lunch/dinner or snacks.

Respected passengers staying in the departure lounge should proceed to the designated boarding gate at least 1-2 hours before the departure time, following the directions of the display board. To ensure the security screening, coats, blazers, jackets, belts, shoes, wristwatches, mobile phones, laptops, iPads, tablets, chargers, power banks, toy guns, keys, coins, and other electronic goods must be placed in the tray. After completing the security screening process, the respected passenger will wait in the holding lounge to board the aircraft. The airline representative will assist them in boarding the aircraft on time.
